Welcome to the Albright College Blackboard Support Site. This site contains information and tutorials for students using Blackboard at Albright College. The appearance of the actual Blackboard site may vary because of the settings of the student's browser.

We are not trying to explain everything about Blackboard. We are trying to help Blackboard users perform the most common and useful tasks. This is the HTML version of the site and requires only a browser and internet connection.

Note: Because of variations in how Blackboard course options are set, some of our actual Blackboard course sites may have different features or look slightly different from our examples. Several browsers support using the F11 key to toggle a full-screen mode. You may wish to try this to view more of the Blackboard page and less of your browser.

The minimum system requirements for Blackboard are:

  • Platform: Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, or ME; MacOS 9 or MacOS X
  • Hardware: 64MB of RAM, 1 G of free disk space
  • Software: Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Browser: Internet Explorer 5.5 or Netscape 4.78--do not use AOL's proprietary browser
  • NOTE: JavaScript and Cookies must be enabled.
  • Modem: 56K.

If you continue to click on the "Next" link at the bottom of each page, it will take you through every page on the site. This is the recommended viewing method.

Your browser "Back" button will take you to the last page you were viewing.
